What to expect:
AGE: You will find that the Orchard Farm Baptist family includes people from every generation.
ATTIRE: How people dress is just as various. You will find people in jeans or shorts and t-shirts, and you will find people wearing suits. Most of us fall somewhere in between.
GATHERING: At 9:30 am, we have Sunday School or Bible Study for every age group. This is a great time for young ones, especially, to engage in age appropriate lessons. A nursery is also available at this time. Light refreshments are served at 10:15 am in the fellowship hall for a time of community.
Our family integrated worship time begins at 10:45 am. The music style is a mixture of contemporary worship songs and beloved hymns. The order of service adjusts from week to week, but typically includes praise and worship, corporate prayer, worship through giving, and the preaching of God's Word. An interactive sermon page is provided after the offering. We celebrate communion together the first Sunday of every month. At the close of every service, we have a time of response and refection.
We love children, we love their voices, and we love seeing them in worship. Children learn to worship and serve the Lord by worshipping and serving alongside their parents. Children will provided sermon notes to help them focus on the service. They are encouraged to sit with their parents during praise time and the sermon, but are welcome to join our Children's director in the prayer ground at the back of the church during the sermon. At the end of the service, we have a quick review of what we learned.
BELIEF: Scripture is our foundation for all we believe and do, and messages are rooted in His Word. Yet, we are not called to passively listen to sermons. We are called to go and make disciples. God's Word should challenge us to respond in faith and obedience.
At Orchard Farm Baptist Church, as an autonomous church, we ascribe to the Baptist Faith and Message.
